How to check your Karunya Plus KN-642 result
Match the full ticket number for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and consolation prizes, and match the last four digits for the lower tiers. Always cross-check your number against the official gazette before making any claim.
How and where to claim your prize
Prizes up to Rs 5,000 can be collected from any authorised Kerala lottery agent or the District Lottery Office. For the bigger wins — including the Rs 1 crore, Rs 30 lakh and Rs 5 lakh prizes — you must surrender the original winning ticket along with a completed claim form and a government photo ID at a bank or District Lottery Office / the Directorate, generally within 30 days of the draw. See our full guide to claiming a Kerala lottery prize for the step-by-step process.
Prize structure
Karunya Plus is a weekly Thursday lottery with a Rs 1 crore first prize, a Rs 30 lakh second prize and a Rs 5 lakh third prize, followed by consolation and numerically-matched lower tiers down to Rs 100. Consolation prizes of Rs 5,000 go to the other series sharing the first-prize number.
Tax and agent commission
Prize winnings above the exempt threshold attract income tax (TDS) of about 30%, plus applicable surcharge and cess, deducted before payout. Authorised agents earn roughly 10% commission on ticket sales. Treat these figures as general guidance and confirm current rates with the Directorate.
Verifying ticket authenticity
Use the official Kerala Lottery barcode scanner to confirm your ticket is genuine and cross-check the printed numbers against the official result gazette. Keep the ticket unsigned or lightly signed on the reverse and stored safely until you claim.
Issuing agency
Karunya Plus is conducted and published by the Directorate of Kerala State Lotteries, under the Taxes (Lotteries) Department, Government of Kerala, headquartered at Vikas Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram. This website is independent and not affiliated with the Directorate.
