Kerala Lottery 03-10-2026 Karunya KR Result

Karunya KR lottery draw on Saturday, 03 October 2026

The next edition of the Karunya (KR) weekly lottery is scheduled for Saturday, 03 October 2026 (03-10-2026). This is one of the Directorate of Kerala State Lotteries' most popular Saturday draws, headlined by a first prize of Rs 1 crore. The winning numbers are not out yet — the draw takes place in the afternoon, and this page will carry the full result the moment it is announced.

Until then, here is everything worth knowing about the KR series: the prize structure, the draw schedule, how to check your ticket, and how to claim if you win.

When and where is the KR-770 draw held?

The Karunya draw is conducted at Gorky Bhavan, near Bakery Junction, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram. Proceedings typically begin around 3:00 PM IST. Live numbers usually start appearing from about 2:55 PM, while the official signed result PDF is uploaded in stages, generally between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM.

Karunya KR prize structure

The prize breakdown below reflects the amounts used in the most recent Karunya draws. The actual winning numbers for this Saturday will be filled in after the draw.

Recent Karunya (KR) results

The last several Karunya draws each carried a Rs 1 crore top prize, sold across different corners of the state. For reference:

As the list shows, top-prize tickets have surfaced from northern Kannur (Payyanur) to central Palakkad (Pattambi) and down to Kollam — a reminder that the winning ticket for 03 October could come from any of Kerala's 14 districts.

How to check the KR-770 result

Once the draw begins, match the digits on your ticket against the numbers published here and in the official gazette. Start with the first-prize number, then work through the consolation and lower tiers. For the 4th prize downwards, only the last few digits usually need to match, so check the tier rules carefully. Always confirm your win against the official Kerala State Lotteries result gazette before making any claim.

How and where to claim your prize

Prizes of up to Rs 5,000 can be collected from any authorised Kerala lottery agent or seller, or at your District Lottery Office. For anything above Rs 5,000 — including the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes — you must submit the original winning ticket along with a filled claim form and a government photo ID at a bank or the District Lottery Office / Directorate, generally within 30 days of the draw date. Tickets are sold in all 14 districts, and each district has its own lottery office to process higher-value claims. See our full guide to claiming a Kerala lottery prize for the step-by-step process.

Tax and agent commission

Lottery winnings are subject to income tax deducted at source (TDS) of roughly 30%, plus applicable surcharge and cess, taken out before the payout reaches you. Authorised agents earn about 10% commission on the tickets they sell. These figures are set by the Government of Kerala and can change, so treat them as general guidance and confirm the current rates with the Directorate or the official gazette.

Verifying ticket authenticity

Before celebrating, verify your ticket using the official Kerala Lottery barcode scanner and cross-check every digit against the published gazette. Keep the ticket clean, undamaged and — ideally — signed on the back, since a legible original is essential for any claim above Rs 5,000.

The issuing agency

The Karunya lottery is conducted by the Directorate of Kerala State Lotteries, part of the Taxes (Lotteries) Department, Government of Kerala, headquartered at Vikas Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram. The Directorate runs the draws and publishes the official result gazette. This site is independent and reports results for readers' convenience; it is not affiliated with the government.

Play responsibly. Lottery tickets are a form of entertainment, not an investment — spend only what you can comfortably afford, and never chase losses.
