How to check the Samrudhi SM-75 result

On draw day, keep your ticket handy and compare the full ten-digit number along with the alphabetical series. Live updates begin around 2:55 PM IST, and the official result PDF from the Directorate of Kerala State Lotteries confirms every tier. Check the first-prize number first, then the consolation and lower tiers, and verify the last-four-digit prizes carefully as those apply across all series.

How to claim your prize

If you hold a winning ticket, the route depends on the amount. Prizes up to Rs 5,000 can be collected from any authorised Kerala lottery agent or seller, or at the District Lottery Office. For prizes above Rs 5,000, you must surrender the original winning ticket along with a filled claim form and a government photo ID at a bank or the District Lottery Office / Directorate, generally within 30 days of the draw. Each of Kerala's 14 districts has a District Lottery Office that handles higher-value claims. For a full step-by-step walkthrough, see our guide to claiming Kerala lottery prizes.

Tax and agent commission

Lottery winnings are subject to income tax deducted at source of around 30%, plus applicable surcharge and cess, taken out before the payout reaches you. Authorised agents who sell a winning ticket earn roughly 10% commission. These rates are set by the government and can change, so confirm the current figures with the Directorate or official gazette.

Verifying ticket authenticity

Before celebrating, scan your ticket using the official Kerala Lottery barcode scanner and match the number against the official result gazette rather than relying only on social media or unofficial lists. Keep the ticket undamaged and store a copy of the signed reverse side.

About the issuing agency

The Samrudhi lottery is conducted by the Directorate of Kerala State Lotteries, under the Taxes (Lotteries) Department, Government of Kerala, headquartered at Vikas Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram. The Directorate runs the draws and publishes the official result gazette. Tickets are sold through authorised agents and retailers across all 14 districts.

Play responsibly. Lottery tickets are a form of chance, not an investment — only spend what you can comfortably afford to lose.
